Raised and educated in Australia, Jacqueline came back to Hong Kong in 1999 tracing her Chinese roots. Her working experience includes spearheading events at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Shortly after, Jacqueline realised her passion in working with children. She has been teaching English for over 10 years teaching students aged 5-15, in the areas of grammar, phonics, writing, creative story writing, essay writing, critical writing / reasoning, and English Literature.

She is passionate and committed to: develop students’ brain-storming techniques, inspire students’ creative expression in writing and enhance students’ language ability in English.

She writes news topics for critical writing / reasoning and does lesson plan for creative story writing.

She has taught and cared for toddlers at church and day care facilities and was engaged at the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children. It is through her association with children that Jacqueline has realised the importance of home education for children.

Jacqueline spent her childhood in both Melbourne and Sydney, and graduated in BA Communications and Media Arts at the University of Newcastle, N.S.W., Australia. She obtained a CertTESOL qualification from the Trinity College London. Jacqueline lives in Hong Kong with her German husband.
